Closet Cooking is on Instagram! I first created an Instagram account years ago and I never really used it but recently I have been getting into it. I am mostly posting preview shots of upcoming recipes and some of my food adventures outside of my closet sized kitchen. Google Reader

I know that a number of you follow my new recipes on Google reader and by now I am sure that you are aware that the Google Reader service is shutting down! This is quite the blow for me as I have been using Google reader everyday to keep up with all of my favourite sites ever since I first started using it. Luckily there are alternative readers that you can use including feedly or bloglovin which can import all of your Google Reader feeds and you can continue following all of your favourite sites without skipping a beat!

If you do not follow my new recipes through Google Reader or if you do not know what I am talking about, then you have nothing to worry about, you will continue to receive all of my new recipe updates as normal.

If you do follow my new recipes through Google Reader, make sure to move over to another reader app and subscribe to the Closet Cooking feed in your new reader app. You can of course also follow all of my updates in any of the following other ways:

Happy 6th Birthday Closet Cooking!

Today is Closet Cookings 6th Birthday!

This last year of Closet Cooking was full of new recipes and they might just be the tastiest ones yet! With all of the tantalizing new recipes added this year there are now almost 1700 recipes on Closet Cooking with no signs of stopping! When I first started Closet Cooking 6 years ago it was more of an experiment, a way of chronicling my adventures in the kitchen but with your support it has grown into so much more and it is now one of my passions and an obsession! New Cookbook: Melty Grilled Cheese

I am pleased to announce my latest eCookbook Melty Grilled Cheese!

I know that you knew that a grilled cheese cookbook was coming! I actually wanted to write the grilled cheese cookbook first but I kept coming up with new ideas for grilled cheese and other projects took priority... well, you know how it is... With National Grilled Cheese Month here I now have the opportunity to pull out all of the grilled cheese sandwiches that I have been experimenting with over the last few months and share them with you on Closet Cooking and in Melty Grilled Cheese.

As you may know, I am a big fan of grilled cheese sandwiches and over the last few years I have done a lot of experimenting with different creations!
